Our Wines

Established in 2001, Elkin Creek Vineyard bottled their first vintage in the fall of 2005. The winery overlooks The Big Elkin Creek and the century-old Elkin Creek Mill. The vineyards are comprised of four lush acres of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our wines are generally crafted in European-inspired styles and range in price from $20-$36.  Availability alternates by vintage and time of year.  If you are interested in a particular wine, please call or email to check availability.

Chardonel 2022

Carefully crafted in the Burgundy style, aged with a touch of French oak and methods to build mid-palate structure. Burgundy is the birthplace of Chardonnay, known for its flavors of green and yellow apple, lemon, toast, butter, and vanilla.

CHARDONNAY 2023

Our Chardonnay is a French Chablis style. It was fermented and aged solely in stainless steel for a lighter, crisp wine with rounded flavors. It balances Chardonnay's creaminess with smooth malted fruit.                                            

SOFT WHITE 2022 - Sold Out

This popular Niagara wine is crisp and cool with balanced fruitiness. This wine is ideal for a hot summer day or with spicy foods. 

SANGIOVESE 2020 - sold out

A delightfully bright and medium-bodied wine with fresh, ripe, and complex flavors. An excellent pairing with any pasta dish.

ADEQUATE RED

A varietal blend that produces distinct sweet flavors of fruit and spice. This red table wine can be paired with any food and any occasion. MORE THAN ADEQUATE.

DORNFELDER 2022

A German grape variety crafted in the traditional style.  This wine offers complex flavors and notes of savory baking spices with a background of dried fruits. A pleasant and delicious traditional German table wine.                

ROSSA 2020

A delightful blend perfectly balanced with soft tannins and red fruits. It captures the essence of our red clay soil and unique sense of place. The full-bodied, firm flavors make it a wine that will match well with meat, pizza and pasta. 

Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Made from hand-tended vines and patiently aged in French oak barrels. This wine has notes of dark fruits with pleasant dryness and an astute oak finish.

VIN DOUX 2015- available by the bottle only

A port-style dessert wine made in the French tradition. The 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 3 years in French Oak and fortified with Brandy to 18% ABV.  It balances its structural elements with sweetness and flavors of dried fruit.  

VINO LIMONE - sold out

A dessert wine crafted in the style of the Italian classic, Limoncello. This fortified lemon wine can be enjoyed before or after a delicious meal.-
